I know I shouldn't do things

That I so often do,

But I do them anyway,

And now I feel like such a fool.

I know that if I take charge,

And say no to my friends,

That my parents will respect me,

And hopefully, my friends, in the end.

But I do these things anyway,

And get myself in trouble.

Then I start to feel naucious,

So sick, I'm seeing double.

I know this could be avoided,

If I just learn to say no,

But I just keep going on,

Forgetting that I have to go.

And now I'm in a tough spot,

Stuck in a hole so deep,

That it's gonna take a lot of time,

To gain back trust and peace.

I know what I could do,

to earn back my parent's trust,

The thing is I won't do it,

So now that hope is lost.
