When silly things are said and done

Angels come and change our lives

In ways we can't imagine

They open our eyes

And touch the heart

But in the end...

They must depart

Fight for your angel

Make her stay

Your heart has long since felt this way

Look into her eyes

See the pain

Understand the confusion

Dry the rain

Such great friends

Such great lovers

Is this really how it ends

Angels run

They hide away

They close their hearts

And refuse to stay

Understand you fool

She wants to stay

Stop pushing

Stop forcing her away

Im sorry my angel

i caused you pain

lets learn from this

and try again

I have had a few such angels over the course of my life... I would like to think I am smarter now in how I deal with them... nice piece of writing here... I really liked it... write on my friend!!

Robin M Swart:

Well written and effective expression of tender emotions. And of how to nurture the people who engender them in us. Good job. Gave it a "5".

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.
