Beware, my name is Despair,
and if you fall into my snare,
then I will own you!

You may recognize my face,
when you feel you have no grace.
Haha! Hehe! Hoho! Hey hey!
That was me!

I send people around,
that leave you feeling down.
I put temptation in your way,
but, it makes you feel okay.

Do you remember just last year,
when I had whispered in your ear,
To give up smokin', no more tokin',
on those joints?
And you tried and tried and tried,
you tried until you cried.
And wasn't it strange when you prayed,
hoping someone would come around,
the door-bell rang and it was Sam.

He'd rolled a joint to share,
And said, "do not despair,
for I have plenty to spare."

You couldn't give it up,
and now your paying for the stuff.
Haha! Hehe! Hoho! Hey hey!
That was me!

Beware, my name is Despair,
and if you fall into my snare,
then I will own you!-Written By Robyn Brown
