A note to God from me about finally getting why he did what he did...

Dear God, I think I am beginning to understand why you did what you did. At the age of two, when my mom died in a car accident, it didn’t make much since. All I wanted was my mom back. A two-year-old mind can’t comprehend the loss of a loved one like an older child can. My family was changed when an alcoholic driver killed my mom. Some of us grew closer to you, some didn’t. My brothers were older than the girls, as you know. I know you did what was best and that you had your plan, but it was still hard. God I love you more than anything and I thank you for blessing our family with another broken family. Our step mom, Amy, had two children of her own that you brought into our lives. After mom got a divorce from her former husband, you connected two broken hearts and made them whole again. My mom and dad are blessings to me, they are representatives of your power to bring people close as long as they have you. If it weren’t for my mom dying in the car wreck, we wouldn’t have met our new mom, sister, or brother. Although sometimes I still think about my mom, my family helps. I watch from the outside and see what you have done. Love is distributed all through out my family. Because of you, we are a complete family. I still like to think of what my mom could’ve been and what she could be like, but I miss her and I will always miss the mom I never had. Moms are special and when you lose one, it is easier to understand.Thank you for giving us a second mom to talk to and with. P.S. your love is forever grateful in my heart. I love you like a father, brother, and friend. You are everything and always will be. I make my mistakes but you forgive me and once again, I thank you for being so gracious. I love you and thanks.~Hannah Elizabeth
