Anorexia is a sickness that has plagued me for the past six years. It has been an endless struggle that I have always found hard to put into words. The title, We Are Not Many, We Are Few, is basically a way of showing how lonely Anorexia can make you feel. It makes you feel like there is no one else out there with the same disorder.

Ana, you have me captive in a web of depression,
You took my life and became my obsession.
To dream that you never existed,
Would make me cold and twisted.
For we are not many, we are few,
That have since been deemed imperfect by you.
I wish I could explain this madness,
All I can say is that my world is filled with sadness.
Sometimes I wonder how I became so blind,
But I suppose that's easy said in hindsight.
My night is fueled by a cold, dark rage,
Like animal trapped inside it's rusty cage.
Please free me from this emotional hell,
I promise you that to anyone, I will not tell.
It will be our secret and our lies,
Just let me escape from your demise.
You are my illness that I still obey,
But this nightmare will go away some day.
So help me reach this endless light,
It shines so beautiful, so brilliant, so bright.
So sick of my devotion to your curse,
To me, you have done your worse.
For I will not become a slave to you,
We are not many, we are few.
