This captures the ideal of freedom in a sense of winning it from some oppressive power. I feel it really portrays a view of hard work paying off in a sense that it's worth dying for.

Tattered, grey and scarlet, I’m unrest and upheaval.

I’m the banner of a righteous cult.

Carried by the brave, I charge the evil

I am a battered city, mid-revolt.

I am a phoenix, born of ash and reliance.

I’m a sign, it’s not over yet.

I am screams, desperate cries of defiance.

I smell of gunpowder and sweat.

I swell the hearts of those who embrace me.

I taunt those who refuse.

I am a thorn in the side of those seeking to erase me.

I’m the bomb they’ll never defuse.
