It’s a beast that hunts to maim but never kill

It stalks for ages that it might instill

Sufficient fear with which it attempts to feed

Its own cowering insecurities

This destroyer of worlds, a cowardly crippled blight

King of pseudo-facts and self-proclaimed insights

Sewing discontinuities and illogical hate

Into the minds of men once driven to create

Spewing intolerance, it hides in holy scripture

It festers in the most fundamental human picture

We do its dirty work, tear ourselves to pieces

Like flies to vile excrement, we’re drawn to what it preaches

Witness the addiction and transcend intrinsic fault

Overcome the crutch, bring illogic to a halt

Or fall prey to the influence of self-righteous rot

Close your feeble mind to join the pestilent lot
