I look forward to a lot of things

yet this time what do I have to look forward to

each year another heart ache worse than the last

when shall this too pass

guess I need to live for right now and not tomorrow

and just drown all my fears in my sorrows

how much more pain must I endure

or is it when my face scrapes the floor

what type burns shall be placed on me

just so my body can feel misery

shall I slit a wrist

dare do I blow death a kiss

at what point do I lift my head above the fog

or is it the clouds

I really need to see and feel sunshine

A ray of hope, inspiration at best

Or is all of this just a test

You see I am at a breaking point

A point to where I feel like breaking a joint

Maybe just smoke one

Yeah then I may feel much more calm

You know like before a storm

Ahhhh yeah you right

Just shut up and live life

Quit my complaining and weather my strife

For its when I can overcome transgression

That I truly understand the mission
