For as surely as you live you shall surely die

This was brought about by the opening of one’s eye

Man has a sinful nature

That’s created by hatred

Racism, prejudice and pride

Lurks in corrupt minds

The root of evil is the love of money

We all strive off of it like bees do honey

In sight we hold faith

Yet tales we create

Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed

For inordinate affection

And those still living that life

Think they’re under protection

We all have fell short and full of sin

We are as filthy rags from within

Yet there are those who think they’re better than most

Living their lives with a boast

Clinging glasses to toast

Though if not living right their souls shall roast
