Death is imminent
And still we marvel at its existence
Someone close to us die
Not only do we wonder, we cry
Thousands die daily
But only for those close to us we pray
For those who are known that die
It's like it's hard to imagine
But if we would reflect
"For surely as we live we shall surely die"
Then we would no longer have to cry
For those who left us behind just
Know for Earthly cares or struggle, heartache
Pain, suffering and tribulation
They have overcome
For the LORD's Kingdom they come
And truly if they believe
Then through life they have succeed
