One day you are seen

The next day you are not

You reveal to people

What you want them to see

Your reality is hidden

Hidden behind this mask

Behind this mask lies the hidden truth

The truth of who you are

What you are and what you have become

This mask puts on a front

A front to those who you may want to impress

Yet the truth displays who you are

And who you would love to be

This mask is just a cover up

You evolve your whole life around this mask

You lie about the truth if ask

Someday, someone will know

This mask is just that

Then the unveiling will be a task

The truth has been revealed

The front you displayed is no longer real

Now your life to you has end

But by taking off the mask you truly can begin

Now you can unveil the lie you lived
