Funniest Thing....

We were the best of friends

and you've left angrily

You said you'd be here to the end

but you're not here beside me.

We had our troubles

of course everyone does

but you wouldn't help me fix them

so Im leaving it, we're done.

Out of the blue one day

you walked right up to me

a big smile on your face

and say how are you doing?

I look at you in confusion

I'm so totally lost

you left without a word to say

didn't you know the friendship was gone?

So you say how happy you are

and you need nothing more

but if indeed this is correct

why are you at my door?

See you tend to be this person

who everyone thinks they can look up to

When in fact you are alone yourself

and need someone to guide you.

On that day you came up to me

you really did look out of place

but you continuously try to act so tough

is there any wonder why I laugh in your face?
