Waiting for me, watching the rain

glide through time, an effortless wind.

Can’t you feel it? For it’s falling madly.

Notice me once, notice me twice. I have

and always will be muddled without you.

No matter what I say, the dark rain seems to

devour me like a hungry lion,

feeding on its prey. I can no longer

stand to wear the dark colors that keep me

from the white colors that you hold dear.

For without the white storm of self-indulgence,

there is no bright distraction from the truth.

It’s that chilly cold that you will face soon,

three hours and fifty-nine minutes elsewhere.
