Chirp, Chirp
Glancing out my window
Everything is still
Chirp, Chirp
One feathered angel does lie
Forward comes the angel
Seeking hearts a many
Chirp, Chirp
I hear weariness from times ago
Now with azure wings it flies
Trying to reach a high up sky
Chirp, Chirp
It requests
Life of one to make its nest
Protecting like no other
Feeding off mornings early light
Soft and gentle
Chirp, Chirp
Why now does it cry
Is it because no reason to be heard
Or of signs that could be served
As its wings do softly flutter
I do feel its sleepy shudder
Chirp, Chirp
It feeds and rests
Bringing home what all do test
Softly lying on a sill
Trying to do nothing still
Chirp, Chirp
I question why
Do thy eye make reply
Questions to be answered amongst such winds
Only to be forgotten in sin
Chirp, Chirp
Mournful it lies
Hoping that sometime beauty will find
Hollow is ones head
All but what does make it dread
Chirp, Chirp
I question why
Tis seasons that go by
Always watching with intent
Moving slowly in meditation
Chirp, Chirp
It drinks to song
Nipping what is to belong
All that now one must go
To and for, he now woes.
Chirp, Chirp
As it flies
Not wondering why
That is all there is to ponder
Why must he be one to wander
As one good does say,
Goodbye.
