Rain to muddy puddles,
Love to murky troubles,
I find my way,
In a rainy day,
A play all wet,
I’m very upset,
No glee under a tree,
To wait until not wet,
I sigh as the leaves dry,
My clothes are sopping wet,
I try not to fret,
I place my new clothes in a set,
My old I threw in a back pack,
Its caught in a net,
Now I’m clean and dry,
My shoes I tie,
I rest until the rains die,
Now I have a new play to write,
Inky smears,
I sigh at the tears,
To all of my fears,
To the ones I love,
Even to die,
I write this new play,
Titled: The Rain Killed It,
But Love Lives to Tell Another Story,
And evenly I cry.
