Out cropping the heavens,
A dew from a hot spring beckons,
Steamy and dreamy,
Winter weather,
Floating like a feather,
I think of the plants that grow near by,
I row my boat,
A steamy float,
I see a vine near me,
I wonder what fruit it will give me,
My dreams a float near the moat,
My life has a way to sway,
No matter what I say,
My life will drift,
One way or another,
Or I'll be trapped in the steam,
With a life preserver and smother?
But I choose to row,
And after I flow,
I reach out and grab,
Will I find a fruit,
Or a thorny prick to stab?
If I don't try,
I'll be too steamy and dreamy,
And to never cry,
Is to be dry,
I should reach out and try.
