This is my third version of a poem about the devestation with the Kansas tornado. I couldn't decide which one I liked better so I thought I would post them all. Let me know what you think.

A day like no other
Friday, May Fifth, Two-thousand-seven
Sweet children and their elders
Angels were sent from heaven
A monster  came and destroyed
Nine innocent lives stolen
The community's love deployed
The monster failed its mission
A photo of Jesus remains on a lone standing wall
Because God has a passion
His people refuse to fall
A home is a family and friends
Angels guide us from above
The communities around extend
There will forever be love
