It was time to hunt again, the leader grunted at the pack to follow him to the woods. The snow fell hard against the wolfs thick fur, but not one flake nor a thousand slowed the powerful beasts down. Once arriving the towering trees, the pack disbanded from one another, with the full moon hanging weightlessly in the starry sky, it wasn't at all difficult to follow the pale white light to their agreed positions. Silently waiting, the snow soon drapped over their coats. The only noticeable thing was an occastional breath of fog from a wet, black, nose here, or a panting mouth there. Not ten minutes had passed before a lost doe stumbled into the circle of famished monsters. The leader boomed with a murderous howl, sending each wolf launching at the doe. She scrimmaged past them and attempted to flee, but not before a well known hunter was on her tail. He leapt in front of her and thrusted her into the freezingly harsh snow with just one thunderous hit of his heavy paw. He snarled at her, ready to kill, when he caught a glimpse of the full moon shining brightly in her eyes, pure fear stared at him. Her limbs lashed around frantically, he could see her life flash before their eyes. The packs wild barking urged him to finish her off, though they were distant to the wolfs ears. The leader walked up and slashed the doe's throat with one brutal swipe. Crimson red life poured out of the doe and into the innocent snow. Her body went limp, and she was gone. A single tear gathered at the corner of the wolfs eye as he left his pack to feast on their dinner. His stomach growled at him, he snapped back at it in guilty anger. And so the Wolf fell in love with the Doe.
