We haven't started yet, Either we don't want to or we can't. The paint has started peeling, curling and cracking against the wall. We still haven't put pictures in the frames, No posters on the wall. We think over and over and over, Again and again and again, We make plans, then crumple them in our heads, Only to be thrown away. The evil butterflies in our stomach, they say you'll lose your friends, It fills us with panic, we stop in our tracks, But we have none, friends! We haven't unpacked our feelings yet to share them with others. We are not yet ready to meet the world, Guess we'll never be ready to meet the world.
