I may not be smart

I may not be clever

But I have a heart and soul

Which is more than you’re ever

I may not be pretty

I may be alone

But there are things right now

That your never know

I may like to lie

But I’ll stay true to myself

And if you want to know I’ll always cry

Just don’t leave me upon that shelf

I may not be bright

I may be on my own

But that won’t stop me saying

That you should have known

Some people call me blonde

But that’s who I am

I’m staying true to myself

Because I was told by my mama

I get called dumb

I just not good with this letter

So me writing this

I know I’ll be better
