I remember how we met.

It was raining.

I left college late because I needed to do some extra work. I put up my umbrella and walked to the Bus Stop. That's when i saw her. She were sitting on the bench crying in the rain. I walked over and held my umbrella over her head. She looked up when she noticed that the rain wasn't hitting her anymore and she saw me looking down and I asked "Are you OK?"

"No." She cried. She told me that her boyfriend was supposed to be picking her up and he called her when he was an hour late breaking up with her. Her parents couldn't pick her up and she had no money for the bus. After hearing this tale of pain and rejection, I did the right thing. I paid for her bus ticket.

As we rode the bus together we talked and realised that we both had a lot in common. Then, all to soon, her stop came up. I gave her my umbrella so she wouldn't get any wetter and told her she could return it to me at college. She smiled, told me she would, gave me her thanks and got off the bus.

The next day she gave me my umbrella back, but it looked like there was something in it. I opened it up and a note fell out that simply read "Thank You, Rhys" and her phone number underneath.

I texted her "You Are Welcome, Sarah"

That's how we met.

I also remember how I proposed.

It was five years after we met. I woke up kissed her forehead and then swiped the Dolphin ring she wore on her ring finger. I quickly dressed and drove to the Jewellery shop and asked for a ring, then I asked for it to be sized to the Dolphin ring. I then drove home, pleased that i now had the ring.

When i got home, the place was a mess. She had spent the day looking for her Dolphin ring, so I sneakly placed it between the cushions on the couch and then pretended to find it. I then went to my office to put together my plan to propose.

A few days later I asked her to test this video game that I had made. It was a simply thing, that she enjoyed, and at the end the game told her to turn around where i had put up a sign that said "Follow The Arrows". So she did. The arrows led her outside to where I was standing under the stars, surrounded by candles and her favourite flower, Blue-Green Tulips, and I got down on one knee and said the four words that changed my life for the better...

"Will You Marry Me?"

It's our Wedding tomorrow.

Sarah, I Love You.
