My Dad was a man with a big heart;

He was a man who knew so many stories

and only he could tell them apart.

My Dad was son and a husband,

and best of all, he was my father.

When I was little, we'd walk hand in hand

along the lake shore we had preferred.

And now,

My Dad is a man who walks with Jesus,

and dances with the angels

with such finesse.

My Dad is a man who will be dearly missed,

and although we're sad now,

we'll be with him again,

singing and dancing to a sweet ballad.
