I got to my feet and raced to the disaster. Stood there, stationary. I had a sudden decending sensation. I unexpectedly realised that my head was spinning; my gut was too. I managed to focus my eyes on the disaster before me, despite the flashing cameras that were gradually blinding me. No air was reaching me. My world began to spin. Horrific images blazed through my mind. Blood everywhere. A hushed body lay before me. Sirens calling in the distance. An unimaginable amount of people flocked over to see the accident. Sirens poured from my heart; from my mouth. An ambulance appeared, but it was too late. Crying watchers stood still. Everyone bothering me for details. But all I could think about was the lifeless human before me. I knew that I had cost someone their happiness. I knew that somewhere out there, many innocent relations had now lost their son, father, cousin or grandfather. I knew I was the barer of death. He was gone and it was all my fault.
