don't look behind you

i said, don't look behind you

someone's looking at us

just keep your head to the ground

and wait until they pass

we turned the other way

we waited until it was time

we made our move

as soon as they walked by

we slowly started walking

we walked the other way

mumbling to ourselfs

i can't recall what we were saying

our heart was pounding hard

we were finding it hard to breath

but all we knew was

we had to get off the street

we came to a door

i was the one that knocked

we then counted to four

then the door unlocked

it opened up

you let us inside

down in the basement

you said we could hide

down the stairs

in a dimley lit room

we sat there for

an hour or two

i said come on

it's time to go

it's dark outside

no one will notice

so you hopped back inside of me

i put our shadow

up my sleave

quietly the three of us

made our way up the stairs

we thanked you for

allowing us to hide there

we shook your hand

and said goodbye

then quietly

i mumbled inside

don't look behind you

i said, don't look behind you

as we dissapeared

into the night.
