where is she?

where has she gone...

I can still hear the music

but I can't here the song

the tears they roll

and I don't know why?

as the car backs away

I wave goodbye

where do I go

where is the light

holding onto some hope

in the cold of the night

My baby girl is growing up

no longer am I her pride

to Her there is no fullfilment

no more satisfaction inside

I've done My best

it appears I could do better

I thought it would be easy

to Love and Protect Her

but again I am wrong

I can still hear the music

but I can't hear the song

I try to brush it

like I don't care

but in the silence

you can hear My heart tear

I can still see those tears

rolling down her face

while she's telling Me

She doesn't want to stay

I see her four days a month

to Me it's not enough

to Her it's too much

I wished She could see things

from where I am coming from

but just like Me

She can still hear the music

but she can't hear the song.
