I lay in my bed at night. I fetal myself to feel the heat, like in the womb. You are laying to the right of me, it feel so cold. I can feel the crest, of the wind, blowing between the sheets. I feel so cold, where's the heat. I stretch my legs out, to the end of the bed, shuffling my feet against the sheets. You lie so still, like a statue at rest. I know you are there, I can hear your snore. Your head is turn, towards me as we lay, I look at you, but there's nothing there. I roll on my back, and stare into space. I close my eyes to dream, of for the day. This hitious night, just won't go away. My ear phones in my ears, listening to love songs, in hoping, this will, take it away. The songs fills, my soul with cheer. In my mind, I'm wishing you were over here.
