Her name was Kamila.
Kamila Bukowska.
I'm not sure what it was
But there was surely something about her
An energy, a force, a smile, a look
That made me see inside her,
Like a deeply interesting book.
I met her by chance, in the moonlit sky
The moon under water
The memories of her and I
I offered to help her,
One thing led to another
Before I had time to know it
I became her adopted brother
We spent hours together
In the in the shops, in the car
I found myself in Poland
Where I learnt just who we are
And now we no longer speak
To her I'm just a freak
But can I blame her, oh no
For it was my lies that made her go
If I could turn back time,
I would change but one thing
To go back to that night
And tell the truth, the whole thing.
She will go far, I can tell deep down inside
But for me life has ended
In to the sunset, she did ride.
