Life can be straightforward, life can be a maze
But as we turn to the mirror and focus on our gaze

We see that…
These eyes have seen beauty, that stretches far and wide
These eyes have been honest
These eyes have lied
These eyes have stayed all day just watching the ocean kiss the sand
These eyes have seen all that is shocking and all that is grand
These eyes have focused on the passing days as quickly as they shoot
These eyes have witnessed life as it is torn from its roots
These eyes have picked up those who have fallen,
And harnessed those that have climbed
These eyes have been watched over by love, even though, it is blind

As we turn back to the mirror and focus back on our gaze, we see that the hassles of life can guide us through the maze
