Night Jogging.

let us run into the night
our hands as one, which feels so right
the magnitude of lust is overwhelming
i can feel it through your fingers, trembling
through the darkness
through the stars
this darkened night is really ours
we follow the moon and its dulling croon
until it falls out of view
sunrise comes at the top of a hill
where a perfect picture of the world is built
birds and blueness fill the sky
mutual happiness in our eyes
all of a sudden the grandest relief
whoever once stole my heart
has become the forgiven thief.
