This piece of poetry I wrote thinking about my once love and how she had traded me for another. At last I get over her... I beleived. Please comment to let me know your opinions. Thank You.

The War was over,
As so I had assumed,
My feelings came back,
Once more, as a flower's bloom.

I thought I was over this,
But apparently I'm not,
My life was full of joy,
I've been wounded by a shot.

Shot by a bullet... no,
But by cupid's merciless bow,
Now cruel is cupid's daily role,
Isn't love perfection, well... I wouldn't know.

A word of advice from a fellow poet,
Love doesn't vanish as easy as we all know it,
But stays in your mind to torment your soul,
And still from the past it will complete it's goal.

My life without you simple it shall be,
As the sinking sun beneath the glorious sea,
Your name drifting in my mind... I feel offended,
Like any other love... my love towards you has ended.
