She’s my princess. My sleeping beauty.

I like looking at her. She’s so pretty. And she’s mine forever.

Her black hair frames her beautiful sleeping face like a dark halo. The blue and grey blend in nicely with her other wavy locks.

Her eyes are shut but I know that under her eyelids are glimmering green cesspools that can suck the life out of you. They say eyes are the windows to the soul. They are, but what’s most frightening is that she enters your mind and takes over your body.

She is too dangerous to be awake.

Her succulent lips are parted slightly to let in air. She makes no noise as she sleeps, but slowly her chest rhythmically rises and falls.

I hope she isn’t overheating. I pull the covers off of her body and bunch it up at the edge of the black sheets. The room is dark, and the sun shines brightly off the walls and sparkles off her caramel toned skin.

I check her temperature. She is not supposed to be warm at all.

Is my precious awaking from her sleep?

Her dress starts to flutter. But there is no wind in here.

One hand moves, zombielike, to the buttons on her dress. She slowly peels off the ugly thing, and she now stands in front of me, daring me to look into her eyes. I don’t, because to do so would be suicide.

Her beautiful laugh fills my ears. She is rummaging through the closet, trying to find something suitable to her tastes. I do not know if she likes anything in the room. I will get my precious whatever she wants if she hates everything in here.

My princess stares at me with contempt as I realize she is clutching clothes to her small chest. I turn away. She wants privacy.

She taps me on the shoulder, and I turn around, only to be met by Aime's pink lips. I stare at my feet as she runs her sharp fingers through my hair. I cringe, afraid.

Aime is hysterical, now. My princess has exploded into tears.

I make the mistake of looking up and finding her eyes.

Now I am trapped in the mirrored void without any hope.
