The Lady in White stands mere metres in front of me
Her raven black hair swaying solemnly in the wind.
I've seen her before,
I know her so well,
She's returned for my soul from the fires of hell

Flashback a few minutes
And serenity is the word,
Peace is all that is known.
But everything's dark
And everything's quiet
And soon I'm all alone.

The music does play
The trumpets do sound
The violins screech out a tune.
She floats on misty air
Like an angel could do,
But this isn't an angel
Her message is doom.

And she's coming closer
Ever so close,
I dare not make a sound.
My hands do sweat
And my eyes do cry...
It's so bitterly cold when she's around.

Her eyes are black
And her lips are blood
Her heart is not even her own.
Her wicked teeth open
And reveal a sword
Lodged down her velvet throat.

She softly pulls it out
Without using any force,
Clawing my hand into a velvet stream.
I try to scream and I try to shout
But I know that I'm trapped
And fall to the ground,
Praying it's all just a dream.
