Just a comment
And it breaks my guard
The walls come down
And the tears flow free
But what else am I to do
The things I want to show
Are the things I must hide
I've done it for so long
Why won't it work anymore?
I've been changed
And there's no going back
I can't stand the disapproval
But it's not my fault
For so long my heart was guarded
I kept my distance out of fear
But the walls where brought down
Out of hope and love
Loneliness had over taken me
My greatest fear and greatest wish
To let someone in
But it didn't last
I build my walls again
They're damaged and brittle
And won't last forever
How was I to know?
Just how damaged I was
When the tears flow with
Just a comment
