Death of a beautiful woman

On the Christmas eve

Of nineteen ninety five,

This world she did leave

And was last seen alive.

Around her deathbed

Silently we all stood,

Not one word we said

Knowing die she would.

Alive she could have been

Not buried near some tree,

As unsold was the medicine

Due to constant penury.

Sorrows only I received

For the fairest of all,

When she had lived

Had cheeks of a doll.

This very world left she,

To heavens she did flee,

What would my life be

Without you emily.
