The Confusion Song
I trace the steps back to the front
I look down at the sky,
The sun shines proudly in the night,
I stop to wonder why.
I turn my back to see my sides,
This heat is freezing cold.
This water is too dry for me
It carries too much mold.
The fish come gasping up for breath
They take deepgulps of air,
I sit down and begin to talk
To those that are not there.
The waves crash down upon the sky
Theyshower me with fire,
And as I stare into the sand
I see a burning pyre.
A single tear rolls down my cheek
I must lay down and go.
I must run far and short to leave,
Escape this burning snow.
