Life almost felt as if time had stopped. My heart breaking as she stared at me with big eyes. Such joy and happiness in her eyes. Turning I smiled and congratulated her. Katie turned and ran into her cabin giggling and blushing. My eyes met he's. Pain filled inside of me and regret too. As I bit my lip tears rolled down my eyes. I slammed the door shut and screamed at the top of my lungs . Hugging my pillow harder and harder. I felt like someone was ripping me apart. Mrs Haywood opened the door and smiled at me. She slid next to me and patted my head gently. Ekon's face filled my head. He's grin bigger then ever as I slowly realised why. He was nothing more but a jerk. I sniffled and sat up. Mrs Haywood hugged me tightly.  "It's ok Mei sweet heart, boys are cruel and heartless." Tears rolled down my numb cheeks.

Gasping awake, my eyes wide with fear. Sweat dropped down my back as I slowly fell out of bed. It was a Tuesday morning and September. My eyes slid to the picture of Ekon. With he's dark hair and olive skin. Eyes filled with joy and- Dad knocked on my door. I smiled at him and hugged him tightly.

School was boring as ever, Mr T lost he's head at us again. Not that he ever doesn't. I sighed as I stared at the empty seat in front of me. Ekon wasn't here again? He never is these days. My mind trailed off from maths. He's lips touched Katie's and slowly he lifted he's hands up to her cheeks- Katie poked my back. I turned to her ready to snap her arm off.  "You should never sneak up on a girl!" I snapped at her as I relaxed. She giggled and sat down beside me. "Ekon's not here again" there was a slight bit of joy in her voice. "Still can't believe he asked me out! I was so happy." I rolled my eyes and smiled at her. Her hazel eyes staring into space. Brown hair tied up high. Ekon and Katie had been a couple for a month and still haven't gone on a date. It was getting depressing so I stepped in and slapped them both in reality. The bell rang loudly.
