*

Your fingers, like

little logs to my

watery frame,

the gentle lull

of waves,

back and forth

against you,

through you,

through me.

*

Your eyes, like light bulbs,

like dark moons,

like chocolate caramel,

like the sea at night,

Like lighthouses

seeing me,

or just looking.

*

I gaze up at them

as if looking through

3D glasses,

trying to see outside

from them,

not in.

*

Your lips, soft, new

unfamiliar

but gentle,

warm,

prickly against my top lip.

Makes me giggle.

*

Your wandering feet

rubbing against my toes

idly circling my shoulder

melting under blankets

looking at me,

examining me,

like a work of art,

basking in it,

melting,

melting.

*

Smiling,

speaking,

through air

and eyelashes,

and hair,

and fingertips,

and cheeks,

through laughter,

through sleepy eyes,

melting.

*

Like hot chocolate

Like hot soup

like bubbling kettles,

like bubbling baths,

bathing in the shower,

drinking wine

and cola bottles,

melting, in my

mouth.

*
