When someone dies, there is so much left unsaid and so many regrets. This is a letter for my daughter, that I hope she will never have to read. A letter from heaven...

You are my daughter, whom I carried inside, The person I lived for, and for who I'd have died, The person I loved more than anyone could, Whom I shared with all of my love.

I want you to know what you mean to me, You're all that I am and all I can be. To you, I have given my heart, As it belonged with you from the very start.

If I don't make it to see you grow, Then I love you still I hope you know. When you start school, if I'm not with you, Good luck princess, I'm proud of you, do all you can do.

When one day you meet your prince and tell him of me, I hope he treats you with respect and dignity. On your wedding day if you cannot see me, Take a look around, you will sense where I'll be.

And if you get pregnant after I have gone, In you and your baby I will live on. Whenever you struggle or feel alone, I'll be there helping you carry on.

If you ever fall upon hard times, Remember baby I'm by your side. Don't ever feel I'm disappointed in you, I know who you are inside, And my darling you have nothing to hide.

If we didn't get a chance to say goodbye, Don't blame yourself or search for why. Even if you didn't say it aloud, The message was sent and then it was found.

Everything happens for a reason I believe, And for you my angel I'll always be here. If you cannot see me and Fear I am lost, I'm still with you, I have not forgot.

You made me happier than I've ever been, Gave me the ability to be all I can be, You made me a mummy as I'll always stay, I'll never fly too far away.

I'll live on in your heart and your mind, I'll never be too far behind. When you feel you need your mum, Remember me and all we've done.

The laughs, the crys, lectures, advice, The memories we made will never die. I pray you get the very best baby, Until we meet again one day, remember your heart is where I'll stay.
