Feeling alone, just getting by, Seemingly without reason, you start to cry, Feeling nothing, yet feeling too much, Feeling you don't deserve this baby you touch.

Loving them more than you knew you could, But nothing is going the way you imagined it would, Just waking up feels like your day is done, When in reality it has just begun,

Your body becomes overwhelmed, And everything you've endured, it can't comprehend, Feeling a failure in all that you do, Like nobody understands what you're going through.

Eventually you confront your fears, And tell someone just how you feel, Yes, this journey has just begun, Now the first step to recovery is taken, This won't disappear overnight, But in time you will win this fight.
