You dragged me into the ocean
You told me I can swim
But without giving any caution
You broke loose of my grip
You just faded in the vague night
Shouting “ you’re gonna be alright”
But when I tried to follow
I saw that I was far behind
I called on you…
You never answered back
That’s when I knew for sure…
That I’d lost your track
I looked around…there wasn’t any clue
You didn’t leave me anything…
To remind me of you
And when I thought my life was a blast…
But it all happened so fast
I just wanted for help to scream
But kept reminding me: this is all a dream
But…when time passed and no one came…
I decided to forget about my helpless pain…
And be my own rescue
“I’ll never risk leaving you” you used to say
But yet, you just left anyway
It doesn’t matter how much you’ll regret…
What a mistake was trusting, I will never forget
I know you can’t hear me, but now these things must be said
Because I’m choosing my own way…
And forward I’ll always head…
‘till I reach the shore
And then…
I’m gonna be more than alright
That’s for sure.
