A truth about life.

Is it a Dream or is it Reality?
Who really cares anymore, there's no liberality.
Equality, Sexuality, nobody cares who or what you are, it's just a formality.

But wait, why should you?
You say it's because 'you know me'; but really, do you?
Then again who knows who?
We're playing a game, it's like we've just met and all I know is your name.
The rules of the game, they seem to have changed, but they're really still the same,
From the time that I left to the time that you came.
Year after year we hope for change, but we aren't getting anywhere, still on the same page.

They act like they're your friends when they're really two-faced.
And when you're the one in trouble,
They're gone.
Without a trace...

Isn't this fine poem the truth, all of it, but especially the ending verse?

A Stranger

Very true. The arrogance of and individual lessens the ideal of individuality. Well written, but have faith all are not always the mask they present. I enjoyed this looking forward to reading more. AS
