Forbidden lovers unify in twilight.
I already miss your touch, your scent, the numbing effects
of what you do to this lonely shaped heart.
It staggers in its bone kingdom;
Wallowing in hollow tales of wicked woe.
She’s much older than me.
I don’t love her like a mother;
I’m younger than her.
They don’t understand our affection.
Our will is weak as we close the space in between.
They build walls so high in your mind.
Oh my dear, won’t you climb over to the other side.
Forbidden lovers unify in twilight.
Today I’m a fool for you.
I’m waiting for your sun rise.
But it rains knifes at a gun fight.
Our Hearts pound every time we say hello, smile, and play.
Our music doesn’t skip a beat.
The passion in our veins doesn’t fade away.
It ignites when we occupy the room.
I’m happy to see your spirit unfold.
But you don’t promise me a thing.
And it hurts to say goodbye.
Forbidden lovers unify in twilight.
Playing what if game with you
Makes my soul cry colors of melancholy;
Shades of a somber blue.
Your voice is a lighthouse lullaby.
You’re an everyday honeymoon;
A priceless vacation spot.
Fate won’t let our house be a home.
From a distance it seems like you abandon this place of community;
This Cathedral of cathartic love.
But it is I, that tried to squander this stream of water from flowing.
