I’m sitting in the mental ward high

It’s not quite clear why.

My thoughts are confused

Mabie because my mind, body and spirit is abused.

I look around and I see faces

Most of them looking down at their laces,

Their spirit is clouded but light and clear sight surrounds it.

My brain feels slightly scattered

Feels like it has been beaten and battered.

I look into people’s eyes and realise

Behind every one of them there is a different surprise.

Some I see pain

Some I see confusion

Some I see themselves stuck in a hazy situation.

I met a girl today who has problems of her own

She had beauty in her eyes as she spoke in a soft tone.

She made me realise allot of people have issues

She made me realise allot of people feel useless.

Some will choose to try to recover

Some will choose to continue their behaviour.

We get spoken to by doctors and hear their voices

But our future depends on our own choices.
