Hello there dear reader.

Are you ready to start your experience on tryping the proper way?

I am surely ready to teach you!

First, I am going to introduce myself. I am Samantha Williams, a teacher (computer & tech.), and I love my job!

Introduce yourself down there in the comments!

Ok, lets start our first exercize!

***

Step 1:

Do you know where the home row keys are?
If not, here is what it looks like:

\"\"

Step 2:

Place your fingers on the home row keys.
It may feel weird at first, but I promise, it really helps.

Step 3:

Are your fingers on the home row?
If they are, keep them there as you key this line. (If you make a mistake, ignore it! Its ok!)
[You can do this on Word, then copy and paste your progress on a comment!]
KEY THIS:

A S D F
J K L ;
; L K J
FDSA

Did you make an error?
If so, it is okay! It is common to make errors on your first try.

Step 4:

Now, if you need additional practice, feel free to practice that all you need to.
I know, it is hard! Hard at FIRST! It will get much easier once you get the hang of it.

Step 5:

Please key this line:

J K J K J K
K J K J K J
L K L K L K
; A ; A ; A ;
S K S K S
J F J F J F

Step 6:

Now, please key this short line:

J A J A J A J A J A

Errors? Its ok!

Thank you for reading part one of your typing journey!
