Sonnet 5- What a fool:

I realise that I have been such a fool,
And that I have to you been so very rude.
I now wish you shall hear my love call,
So no longer, we shall so angrily feud.

My feelings for you have been kept concealed,
But I now feel able to show them to you,
And no more be hidden by sword and shield,
For I hope you share these strong emotions too.

I know you despise what I did to Jane,
But that is what I thought best in my mind.
I now know my mistake and feel the pain,
For I was so inexcusably unkind.

I pray relentlessly that you can forgive,
So that this life, I can with you relive.
