The Bitter Break-up:

I knew not, you would react that way

I did not mean to you dismay.

We were together but no more,

I did not want to run out the door.

When you began to throw the plates,

I was off on my skates.

Then we meet a few months later,

And shout at me like I’m a traitor.

In the middle of the streets,

My heart beats.

My family ashamed

As I am blamed.

I am not the only one at fault,

So this relationship had to halt.

I wanted to be a friend

But instead a bitter end.

Two unhappy hearts

As though stabbed by darts.

I do regret

And shall forever fret.

Was it the right choice

To my opinion voice.

Time to move on,

And another share your love upon.

I shall not look back

And suffer an anxiety attack.

I shall look ahead,

And no more the past dread.
