I wake up in a strange place

I taste blood

So I feel my face

My eye is swollen

and my lip is busted

I try to sit up

but a sharp pain runs through my wrist

and I remember you clenching your fists

as I feel my face and the blood

I look at my dress all covered in mud

my hair is dirty

I look at a clock

its eleven thirty

I stand up and I walk home

bruised and battered and all alone
