I arrived home a few minutes later. School was just a few miles away. I decided to watch TV which had nothing interesting on. After flipping numerous channels, I gave up and decided to take a nap. My mom was at her second job of the day. I missed her so much I even wanted her to yell at me and say, “Put your clothes off the floor.” like I was still in high school, but I barely saw her until the weekends. That was the time we could do mother and daughter stuff, but recently she hated going out. Her back was getting worse and all she wanted to do was relax instead of going out. I understood, but I also hated it. I wanted my mom to stop working and have a vacation. I knew she did it mostly for me and her retirement, but was I really worth it?

Someone knocked at the door. I sighed in relief of someone to keep me company. Yet, I wasn’t expecting him. He smiled those infamous baby blue eyes at me. “Hi.” he said. “Can I come in?” As I pondered that, he let himself in. I whined to myself. He turned around to look at me. I did the same, but saw his true self under his classy business suit, blue tie and shoes. He seemed sad. His smile faded and resulted in a thin line. He hung his head. He always did that when he was stressed. When it came back up he said, “I’ve missed you.” I said nothing. He chuckled. “I know you’ve missed me too.” Wow, how arrogant. I thought to say, but kept quiet. “I know it might seem cliché to say this but I felt incomplete sleeping in that bed alone without you. Sleep,” he sighed. “That was one thing I couldn’t do. I had to think about our last night together to help. I-I thought this one girl was you at my office who I had no idea even existed.” he laughed. “You’re in my mind constantly and I don’t want you to leave.” After a tear fell on my high cheeks, he stepped up to wipe it away since I didn’t step back from him. I was breaking down fences that kept him away. Who am I kidding I was falling apart for him too. I just wasn’t brave enough to say it. “Say something? Please.” he begged.

After a few agonizing seconds I said, “I need you.” I hugged him like he was my life source. I did not want to let go. He pulled back and my heart skipped a beat. Taking my head in his hands, he crushed my lips into his in one quick movement. I felt complete again. I wanted him. I needed him. He understood. Sometimes I think he can read my mind, when sex is involved anyway. Not so much with everything else. I let Billy’s tongue slide into my lips with ease. I grabbed his thick head of hair into mines and took hold. Not to hurt him, but enough to make him aware I was there. He picked me up, instinctively wrapping my legs around his steady waist. He carried me into my bed. The cold, hard, lonely bed it once was, now my heaven. I pulled my shirt off while he angrily took his jacket off, pulling his tie while I unbutton most from his shirt. It felt like forever, I just had to feel his lips on me again. He softly rubbed my ass, and then slowly slid his large hands to the zipper of my jeans. I groaned at his touch by my intimate spot, I was so ready now. My heart couldn’t take any more waiting. He slipped the jeans down, and then down went his. Sometime between the door and my room, he lost his shoes, but I was very thankful for him thinking ahead. I gave him a condom from my side table. He arched his eyebrows, but continued putting it on with no difficulty.

He entered slowly at first, but that all changed when I told him, “Don‘t hold back.” Billy gave a small smirk and answered with a kiss.More. More. He gave me more. Each thrust he pushed further inside me put me on edge. I climaxed lowering my back to the bed with another thrust he came too. We’re both breathing heavily against each other’s skin. When our breathing slowed down a bit, Billy laid to the side resting on his elbow, he smiled letting his fingers play around in my hair. I hung close facing him. He smiled while I rubbed my name on his arm. “Next time, loose the suit.” he laughed. “Yeah, I know that was a …” he began. “a disaster.” I finished. “I was going to say small mishap, but okay.” I laughed. It was the same in my book. We cuddled so close his heart mended with mine. As time passed, I felt a since of peace until the blast of ‘You and Me' by Lifehouse’ played loudly along with vibrations.

I followed the familiar sound towards the floor. I lifted a combination of his and my clothes to find the device. It ended up being inside his pant pockets. My cell phone. The same touch screen I forgot I had. I haven’t missed it at all. Nobody called me or came to my house because I forgot it. I completely shut down after leaving Billy. I looked up forgetting whose pants they were in. “I-I can explain.” he moved to the edge of my bed. I looked at my phone then back at him again confused I said, “Go on.” Billy exhaled a long breath. “I kind of borrowed it.” he answered. “Because your phone broke?” I said somewhat in a surprising playful mood. “No. I just needed an excuse to see you again.” “I guess you didn’t need an excuse. Did you?” I smiled. I forgave him. I didn’t need the phone for him to come over. He just needed to bring himself. My mind needed to be clear from him, but when we were apart, he was the only thing there. “You’re not mad?” confused. “I guess not. It seems so little compared to other things, I guess. Plus I hate fighting with you. I’m not saying we’re never going to fight, but the less we do, the better.” I hugged him. “But don’t take my phone again.” I whispered into his ear.

As the time passed, I called everyone back to tell them I lost my phone and wasn’t in a ditch somewhere dead. Most of my girlfriends were relieved to hear it, but not my best friend Abbey. She claimed I deserted her. I made her worry and I hated myself for that. It was true, now that I look back on it; I wondered why I didn’t call her to help me. I promised I would make it up to her, but I still felt guilty. “So, you hungry?” he asked. “Huh, Oh yeah.” At the same moment I was reminded by my stomach I was in deed hungry. “You okay?” “Yes. No. I completely forgot about my friends while I was upset over us and now Abbey hates me.” I explained. “I’m pretty sure they will get over it, but until then I want to cook my famous lasagna for you.” Lasagna sounded good and I could eat. “Alright, I’ll be taking a quick shower and you can help yourself in the kitchen.” I said. Billy stood perplexed. Maybe he’s just thinking. I started to the bathroom.

“Wait.” He said, “I was thinking my house to cook if that’s okay with you?” “Um, that’s fine, but I still want a shower.” I answered. “We can do that at my house too.” “You have work tomorrow, Billy and I don’t want to be in the way.” “You can’t be in the way when I want you in the way.” he said. “Stop, saying corny stuff and I’ll just have to say yes.” I grinned. I decided to put on a comfortable summer dress and sandals. When I told him I was ready, he opened my bedroom door. “I can’t believe you’re still shy. I’ve seen every part of you and I got to say not bad.” he grinned. “Not bad?” “You didn't want any corny stuff remember?” I laughed. I watched him go through my closet to fetch my suitcase. He grabbed random clothes out my dresser and zipped it back up. “Ready?” he asked with no explanation so I asked. “For what?” “My house of course.” like it was arranged. “Well.” he crouched down in front of me. “It’ll be fun and I’ll take you home if you change your mind.” he smirked. “But I haven’t made up my mind yet. Fine I’ll go.”

I left a note for my mom since last time I frightened everybody. I dumped out the clothes he put in and decided what I would wear instead. From the clothes he picked, it seemed as though clothes wouldn't be a necessity. As we pulled up to his house, we noticed a Jaguar sitting in his spot. I felt his muscles tense after he let go of my left hand. Not the ex-wife again I thought. After a minute, Billy finally turned the car off; he sat back and looked at me. His weary face seemed years older than his youthful twenty-two. I wrapped my hand around his left hand and squeezed it lightly. A half smile appeared on his tired face. Whoever it was in his house, they were apparently troubling to Billy. That had my heart racing. He decided to get out and I did too. When we joined again I kissed his cheek for good measure. “Hello there. Finally decided to come home and with a tramp no less.” I gasped at the stranger's words. Billy only held my hand tighter. “What do you want?” through clenched teeth, Billy stood his ground. “Only to see my son of course.” he said cheerfully. I watched the face of his father's smile widen, seeing the resemblance I said, “Holy…”
