laying next to you

Laying next to you I admire you as you're sleeping, knowing you're forever and you're definitely the one for the keeping.

 My body filled with warmth my tummy starts to flutter, struggling to find the words, my speech is shakey, I begin to stutter. 

 Appreciating this moment I'm overwhelmed inside, love is seeping through my veins something I often try to hide.

 Laying next to you tears fill up in my eyes,
 You've been here through the thick and thin we've both shared the smiles and cries.

 Not appreciating your efforts to tame the wild in me, not understanding you fully when you're trying to help me see.

 Laying next to you I now realise what is true,
 recognising the greatness in all that you do.
