Just think, what's wrong with his mother.

As the clock reads half past 8,
There's a child who thought he knew his way.
How to laugh and how to shine,
But no one ever gives him enough of his own time.

As his mother sits in the living room,
She's laughing and joking about God knows who.
She thinks he's fine and perfect tonight.
Too bad he's got his mind set on past times.

He'll cry and weep to ask the world,
Could you ever save me from this tumble down twirl?
And no one will answer as he cries some more.
He's got one more chance and it just walked out the door.
